IMPORTANCE OF WATER
MAN MADE WATER SOURCES FOR PROPERTY MANAGEMENT

THE BIGGEST MYTH
"I already have lots of water on or around my property, why would a deer travel to a small pond?" Having water on your property does not mean a man-made water hole won't be successful. Deer are efficient creatures. Their goal is to use as little amount of energy possible to get their necessities which is why man-made water holes in close proximity to a food source are extremely successful.

More Chances
To state the obvious, the more reasons a deer has to travel through your property, the higher the odds are of harvesting that buck that has been on your trail camera. Food sources are great tools, but not every food source presents consistent opportunity. For instance, if your food plot is a bit larger, deer can be positioned out of range or may not present a great shot. However, that food source when paired with a man-made water source creates a singular spot they tend to visit each feeding period, creating a better more consistent pattern for deer.

Value Over the Years
Our time in the woods or on a field edge while hunting whitetails is limited. Enhancing property, creating better habitat, and setting up more efficient ways for deer to get what they need leads to more results, which is infinitely valuable when creating memories with kids, grandkids, parents, grandparents, and other friends and family.
